ÇOHU
Çohu [tschohu], Albanian for “Stand up,” is a documentary web series that follows Adelina Tërshani, a young feminist activist, and Lendi Mustafa, a pioneer of the LGBTI* movement, in their daily lives in Pristina.
This ethnographic documentary uses two personal biographies to explore the local gender movement in Kosovo — a young country striving to find its footing amid rapid upheaval and stark contrasts.
The web series consists of three 14-minute episodes, is publicly accessible online, and is the result of an interdisciplinary collaboration between Celine Stettler and Arzije Asani.
The series has won multiple international awards, aired twice on SRF, and has been available since late 2020 as part of “The European Collection” across the streaming platforms of ARD, ZDF, Arte, France TV, and SRF.
